Faraway is representing the villa owners for internet reservations. The main terms and conditions for each villa are those of the individual villa owner. Faraway will only list villas where we feel the terms and conditions are resonable and will attempt to mediate if any difficulties occur.

Faraway takes a commission for handling the reservations and payments for the villa owners, but the condition of the property, services and facilites provided are the responsibility of the villa owner.

On Samui villas generally require a 50% deposit. With a remaining balance due prior to arrival. Some owners may require a security deposit, or credit card impression as security against breakages etc. Please read the cancelation conditions for each villa as these vary slightly.

Faraway's legal terms and conditions are below...e.g. faraway cannot be held responsible for the villa condition etc.

No part of this website shall be reproduced by any means without the written permission from the owner Faraway Co Ltd (owner of ThailandVillas.net). No liability is assumed with respect to the use of the information contained herein. Although every precaution has been taken in preparation of this website, the owner assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions. Neither is any liability assumed for damages resulting from the use of the information contained herein.

RESERVATIONS

1. To secure a reservation you will be required to make an advanced credit card payment. The amount of the deposit is determined by the individual villa owner.
2. All remaining balances due must also be paid in the time specified for the reservation to remain valid.

Faraway Co Ltd will not be held responsible for the following:

1. Non-availability of the villa upon guest arrival if the owner has confirmed the reservation and a deposit / remaining has been paid in advance.
   
2. Faraway Co,. Ltd. acts as a reservation service only for the villa and the villa guest. Faraway Co,. Ltd can never be held responsible for the villa condition or any services supplied by the villa and no claims of recourse can be asserted to Faraway Co,. Ltd. This is responsibility of the villa owner or manager to whom the deposit & remaining balance has been paid.

REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY

Refunds and cancelations are unique to each villa. Please read the terms and conditions as set out by the owner. Deposits and remaining balances paid to Faraway are passed on to the villa owners or management. Faraway will only list villas where we feel the conditions are reasonable and standard policy in Thailand. We wil also attempt to mediate in the event of any problems.

PRIVACY POLICY

Faraway Co Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy. Faraway Co Ltd does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or other companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission.

We use cookies to store information on your prefered viewing currency rates. For example if you change the default viewing rates from Thai Baht to US Dollars and revisit Far away within 7 days you will still be able to view the web site in US Dollars.
